This fundraiser is for Christina Dondzil, fiance and long-term partner of Mike.

Mike tragically lost his life just two days before writing this fundraiser. He was heading to work, just as he did every morning, early, to open up the shop and get some extra work done before the official day started. Driving his motorcycle, he did not survive an oncoming collision with a vehicle in the other lane. His life ended too early. Mike was working two jobs and climbing his way through the ranks at his employer while working another gig in his free time. Mike and Christina recently chose to forgo a trip to get hitched this past August after spending nearly all their money to save their dog Lady. Most of their prior savings had been spent on years of other personal uncovered medical expenses. They had only recently found respite in a new living situation and several promotions, largely afforded to them on the hard work Mike had put in over the past 13 months rebuilding his employer's workplace after a total flood loss. He was just about to be promoted to manage the entire facility next year. Unfortunately, Christina is now left on her own, in an abrupt and tragic loss, still battling medical complications and without even enough money to cover services let alone what comes next.

My name is Ryan Capinski. I want to share this story to help support Christina. I want others to share this story if they can relate to the challenges found within and the relentlessness it takes to make it out there and support the ones we love.
