RIP Leonardo D. Suarez Sierra

We regret to inform all our family and friends with a heavy heart that heaven has gained an angel today. My brother Leonardo D. Suarez Sierra had been admitted to emergency care since Friday 9/17 and was fighting pneumonia as a result of COVID making positive progress as of Sunday 9/19. Unfortunately he succumbed in his fight this morning and joined the warriors of heaven. We ask for prayers for our family as we pass through this difficult time. More details will be shared on services separately.

Suarez Sierra que en paz descanse, había sido admitido al hospital de emergencia desde el Viernes 9/17 con neumonía como resultado de COVID y estaba progresando hasta ayer 9/19. Desafortunadamente perdió la batalla esta mañana y se unió a los guerreros del cielo. Pedimos que por favor recen por nuestra familia durante este tiempo difícil. We are shocked and saddened of the sudden passing of Leonardo D. Suarez Sierra. The family of Leo has asked for our prayers during this difficult time. Unfortunately, the sudden lose of life brings unexpected expenses. I’d like to extend an invitation for anyone willing and able to make a monetary donation which will be forwarded to Leo’s family by Friday, September 24, 2021. Our second goal is almost met, thanks to the generosity of everyone who loves Leo. I’ve decided to increase the goal after getting a better understanding of all the arrangements the family has had to make. Additionally, our donations will help cover some of the medical expenses. Leo’s family is extremely grateful for everyone’s generosity. Thank you and God bless.

THANK YOU everyone for the overwhelming generosity. Leo’s family is very appreciative! I’ve raised the goal to $25,000. Leo, will always be an honorable brother of Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity, Inc. One of the founding principles is ‘Scholarship’ and the family has decided the remaining funds will be used establish a scholarship in honor Leo’s legacy. Thank you all once again!
