The Still family needs help RIP Krystal n Kimberly
Donation protected
On Sunday November 1st, 2020 my dear friend/family member, Keaira Still–Lodge, suffered not only the painful loss of her Aunt Krystal, but also the devastating loss of her mother, Kimberly Still.
As anyone who has been there knows, losing a family member is difficult, but losing an aunt and a mother in the same day is unthinkable. All of this comes not even a year since the passing of her amazing grandmother, Gloria Still.
My heart breaks too as I am a close friend. More than a decade ago, I moved to Philadelphia with no friends and no family. Almost immediately, Keaira and I were inseparable and even became roommates. Her family took me in as one of their own with no questions asked. They gave me a "home" for holidays and birthdays that couldn't be spent with my own family. I am devastated at what this kind and loving family has gone through in such a short period of time.
Due to the circumstances of her aunt's and mother's deaths, there will be many unanticipated expenses. In addition, incoming contributions need to be split two ways, as there are two funerals to plan and fund.
I have started this page in an attempt to support her and her family in the way they need it most right now. A fund like this, that could be drawn on, would GREATLY ease the burden on the remaining family, especially that which is weighing on my dear friend.
She is coping with her incredible strength and grit but could, understandably, really use some financial support to help getting through all of this.
Times are tough and this has been a difficult and trying year to say the least, but it has been particularly unkind to the Still family. Many who want to help simply cannot. If you are able to do so, please consider donating. Every bit is greatly appreciated!!!
We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
Please help the Still family lay two wonderful women to rest.
Krystal Still- Honorable discharge from the military; survived by 2 sons; died of pneumonia complications
Kimberly Still- Security officer until a work injury left her permanently disabled; survived by 1 daughter and 2 grandsons (whom she adored); died after a hard-fought 25-year battle with chronic kidney disease
