RIP Juju

As everyone know, Juju has been Shirley's best friend for the last 12+ years. She got him in high school when he was a puppy and always had him by her side throughout the years. Maybe you've seen Juju with Shirley at a restaurant, bar, house party — no matter where she is, he's almost always there.
A few weeks ago, Juju got into a really bad accident and fell down an entire flight of stairs. At his age and size it became pretty detrimental — he had immediate seizures and broke two of his legs. Shirley brought him to the hospital immediately to put him on medication and stop the seizure. Within a week of bringing him home, Shirley realized Juju was in immense pain — he couldn't pee on his own, he whined almost every hour and was struggling to walk. She then made the hardest and most courageous decision of her life: put Juju down.
It's been incredibly heartbreaking seeing Shirley in pain and wrestling with this new hole in her life. Everywhere she goes, she brings with her Juju's dog toy with her. Although we can't bring Juju back or replace what he is to her, we CAN help alleviate some of her financial burden. Throughout this process, Shirley paid over $10k+ in vet bills + overnight stays for Juju. Hoping we can raise $5k to help out.
