Today, 8/3/2020, around 9 am, my grandpa passed away due to covid-19. He was in the hospital for not even a week when his health deteriorated rapidly. We as a family were not expecting this and obviously did not plan for this. We are asking for your help to pay for funeral expenses. We want to give him a beautiful service and also wanted to take him to his home land in Rio Bravo, México where the rest of our family lives to be laid to rest. Anything helps. Even if you cannot donate please share this and that alone is enough help.
No words can describe our pain during this horrific time. All we want is for our family in mexico to be able to see him one last time and say their goodbyes. We'd hate if their last image of him was that of a video call. Please find it in your heart to give my grieving family the closure they need.
He was a father, grandfather, and even a great grandfather. He was a family man and oh boy did he love us all. He was a hardworking man even at his age. He was what held our family together. He lived his life and made our lives better. He was a great man and we will remember him as such.
Even if this is the worst thing that could ever happen, we still know that this was god's plan. We want to thank god for giving my grandpa so many years on this Earth to be with us. We know he's at peace and hes now our guardian angel ❤️
Covid-19 is real. It's painful and its scary. My father was the last one to see my grandpa alive in person and i know it hurt him to see him in such pain. Within a week he lost his battle. As a family we are in disbelief. We are hurting. As much as we wanted to be there with him, we couldnt. As much as we wanted to hug him, we couldnt. As much as we wanted to let him know we loved him and wished him well, we couldnt. This virus took that away from us. Only one of my aunts was able to speak for all of us to let him know we were all praying for him before he went to sleep. We had a video call as a family to see him before he went off to the morgue, and let me just tell you, no one should have to see their loved one from a phone screen to get the news that their loved one has passed. Its an image none of us will ever forget.
