Early Sunday morning, David Preece passed away after a sudden, tragic accident leaving him hospitalized in a coma for 2 weeks. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 15 years Vera and his 6 ½ year old son Damien.
It’s been such a trying time for this to happen during this COVID pandemic. His friends, relatives and mother were not allowed to see him in the hospital. Only his wife Vera could see him for 30 minutes a day hoping for improvements or hoping he would wake up. His 6 ½ year old son Damien was not able to see his father.
Dave was a dedicated husband, loving father and loyal friend. He loved racing cars and go karts, 4 wheeling, wine tasting and spending time with close friends and family. He had a larger than life personality, a booming voice you could not get out of your head and such a sensitive heart for those he cared about.
We are all still in shock. Vera is now a widow and a single mom. Damien who is going into 1st grade is now fatherless. We are asking friends, family and the community to please donate to this Gofundme to help with their funeral expenses and for Damien’s Education and College Fund. In Lieu of flowers or gifts we ask that you help support Vera and Damien through this fund.
