Rip Anthony Kidman ❤️

Sadly on New Year’s Eve we suddenly lost our dad, he became ill in October which he went to hospital and was diagnosed with gallbladder infection and gallstones, they then found 3 nodules and a shadow on his liver and thickening of his esophagus, he then had an endoscopy which they found he had stage 4, esophagus cancer and had spread to his liver, he was given 2 options to either fight it with palliative chemo to pro long his life or to spend the rest of his time at home with us all which would be weeks, he decided to try and fight it with the chemo, within all of this going on he was in and out of hospital with infections / sepsis, he had multiple covid tests which were all fine until the day he had his chemo he got home and mum had a phone call saying that he had tested positive, he was fine and showing no symptoms for a few days spent Christmas at home which of course none of us could see him, the day after Boxing Day he started to have breathing difficulties and was taken into hospital and of course no visitors were aloud, the following week we had a phone call saying he was deteriorating from pneumonia which is caused from covid, we were all aloud to visit on the Wednesday, mum stayed with him, the Thursday we got called saying it would be hours, myself, Blake and Paige all went in and joined mum, we held his hand until the very end, within 9 weeks we lost our dad he didn’t get a chance to try and fight his cancer, covid got to him first we have all tried to scrape together what we can but never knew how expensive funerals are!
