RIP Angie Gabriel Funerary Fund

As many of you already know, this morning, around 1AM, around the time of the lightning storm, we lost our friend and metal sister Angie Gabriel.

May she Rest in Peace.

At this time I am uncertain about the cause of death, but I know she had been struggling with ongoing health problems related to her liver, for a while.

May you dream the endless dream, and sail into the infinite eternal stream.

Angie made an impact on everyone she met in her life & earned the respect of her family, friends and peers in the metal community. She was a great person of strong character, charisma & had a force of personality, she was a very unique, independent free thinker & overall great person, unless you got on her bad side.

Angie was known by alot of people and acquaintances, however her inner circle of friends, like mine, was relatively small. Angie was a great judge of character, so if you were lucky enough to find yourself within that inner circle, there was a good reason for it. Angie was one of my best friends.

She was a proud Mexican American, that liked to tell you things straight up. Real Talk.

She was a dedicated mother, a great friend & a raging slayer fan & metal head.

She was an overly generous, giving person, who occasionally even took in stray girls, hard on their luck.

She provided a roof over their heads, even if it was only momentarily or a few months. She was a great host and promoter, even long before we worked together, she was throwing the sickest backyard shows in Lincoln Heights and El Sereno.

It was because of Angie, that I met my friend John and Cesar, back in the day.

Angie Gabriel was survived by her son Mathias but no other immediate family, for she had lost both her brother and her mother within this past years time. May they also Rest in peace.

Angie Gabriel will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to be considered her friends.

Thank you all for the love and support! Angie was one of the good ones.

And the world is just a darker place without her.

All donation proceeding will be donated towards Matthias Escobar ( Angie's son) and used towards the Angie Gabriel Funeral Expense fund.
