Rios Family Rebuild

Hi my name is Nancy,

Myself my Mother , Elderly Uncle,

Sister niece and nephew all were affected by the flash flood on Surfside drive in Port hueneme last night. Our apartments and most of our belongings were destroyed. There was no warning we were woken up to screaming and knee deep water . We quickly evacuated and waited until today to return in the rain to see the devastation. We were told to take our valuables for myself that was family photos and clothes. Our management only offered to pay for 2 nights in a hotel to be reimbursed at a later date. Then we were further instructed it was an act of nature and no insurance will cover. We're currently sleeping somewhere tonight but where we go from here is unknown. I'm not one to ask for help , but at this time I put my pride away and ask if this can be shared and anything will help tremendously. Not only did we lose almost all our belongings but 13 other families in that apartment complex did too. There are no words right now .
