Hi, my name is Megha Kaushik and my husband is Vijay, and I’m raising funds for my beloved dog, Rio, who was admitted at Toronto Animal Health Partners Emergency Hospital.

Rio recently suffered multiple seizures and has been diagnosed with an inflamed heart and arrhythmia. His condition was critical, and the veterinary team worked hard to stabilize him so that he can undergo an MRI to determine the neurological cause of his seizures.

Rio is not just a pet — he’s family. He’s brought so much love, joy, and emotional support to my life and those around him. Seeing him in pain and not knowing when he will be okay is heartbreaking.

The cost of emergency care, diagnostics like the MRI, and potential ongoing treatment is substantial, and that’s why I’m asking for help. All funds raised will go directly toward Rio’s veterinary bills — including hospitalization, diagnostics, medications, and any required procedures to give him the best possible chance at recovery. We are trying to raise $7300+$14500+each trip to hospital for catheters for expressing his bladder is $700.
