Hey I’m Sequoia and my cat Rio has gotten really sick. The medical bills went through the roof trying to save his life but sadly it wasn’t enough. Today, July 22nd 2025 I will need to put him to sleep and let him have peace. However, as a student the costs of all this is taking a very big tole on me and since in the Netherlands it’s illegal to bury an animal somewhere, the costs of giving him his final resting place are getting beyond what I can afford right now.

wow I can’t believe how many people donated and I wanted to say again that this fundraiser isn’t just for letting him to go sleep. It’s for what comes after that (cremation) and the fact that all of the vet trips this week has made my financial situation very very hard, to the point where I’m unable to afford giving him a good resting place.
