RIO needs surgery! Or he can’t run ever again :(

Rio has snapped the ligament between his right knee and his shin. If he doesn’t get surgery it is extremely likely he will tear the other leg. Without treatment, this injury becomes arthritic. And without surgery he will never be able to run again.This is all very bad timing as I’m still getting back on my feet from a court case last year in which I lost everything and am now very much in debt to many. Also I lost my job just days after the diagnosis. It hasn’t been my (or Rio’s year).
As much as I am hesitant to start another gofundme I’m at a loss as to what to do. I can’t continue to watch him fall or limp around in pain without taking action.
I am not eligible for any credit cards due to the debt from my court case, and I’m already working as hard as I can to pay rent and start school.
