My name is Arthur Deakin, born and raised in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and I am raising funds to help local individuals and institutions buy and distribute supplies (e.g., blankets, hygienic products, clothes, water, food) to support the recovery effort. Funds were also sent to local family who lost everything in the flood and will need to rebuild their home from scratch. More information below.

Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes as the worst climate disaster in history hit my home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Millions more have been displaced and at least 90 people have died.

This is still an emergency, especially in my hometown of Porto Alegre, with major flooding resembling New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Please donate to help buy supplies (e.g., bed sheets, hygienic products) to help with the recovery and safety of those who are still stranded. Any small amount helps.

100% of the proceeds will be transferred directly to people on the ground who are buying and distributing those supplies.
