Help Rio escape a fascist regime!

My story, wow, well let me start by saying hello! I'm Rio. I'm a 32 year old trans woman and I finally decided to be myself in January of 2023. If you're trans, you know the drill. It's been 20 years of hiding and lying to myself and 5 amazing months of feeling like I'm actually a living person. I feel like my soul can finally breathe.

That's why the current situation in Florida is so terrifying.

Florida has officially shut down my ability to get any gender affirming care. My parents have made it clear they are no longer interested in paying for the psych medications that help me deal with ADHD and anxiety disorder. I'm working a service industry job that will barely cover expenses once my savings run out. I'm afraid, I'm angry, I'm full of sorrow that the happiest journey of my life has taken such a dark and dreadful turn. I have $3000 dollars on my funding request, but I honestly have no idea how much I'll need to get out of here. The money is going to immediately be deposited into a savings account for the sole purpose of funding my leaving the state and staying alive until I can. In the ideal? I'd buy out my lease and be on the road by fall, but obviously the feasibility of that is questionable. Right now, I just desperately need to know that I'm making ends meet. Please consider donating, and if you think I have it bad, then consider donating to local activist groups more. There are kids here that are in jeopardy, their mental health is under assault. Hell, if you can save a trans kid in Florida instead of helping me out, do it. They need it. But if you want to help me out, I'd love you forever and sing your praises till my dying day.
