Ring of Kerry Give a Vaccine Cycle
Hi,
On the 24th of July 2021, a group of friends from Cork, Ireland will be completing the 180km Ring of Kerry Cycle beginning at Derrynane in South-West Kerry. One of the toughest cycling routes in the country, taking in excess of 10 hours, will be completed to raise money for the UNICEF Get a Vaccine, Give a Vaccine initiative.
As many of us are fortunate enough to receive a vaccine over the coming months, many throughout the world will not be afforded that opportunity. We hope, through our efforts on this cycle in July, that we can make a small positive difference to this by funding vaccines for the most vulnerable families, health workers and high-risk people on our planet.
100% of funds raised in the build-up to this charity cycle will go directly to the UNICEF Get a Vaccine, Give a Vaccine initiative.
From buying and transporting supplies, to administering the vaccine, you will help deliver the biggest vaccination campaign in history and help end this pandemic.
Your donation will ensure that:
- Vaccines get to the most remote and isolated places in the world
- Vaccines are stored safely using secure cold chain equipment
- Health workers are vaccinated and protected against COVID-19
- Vulnerable families and children receive the life-saving care they need to survive
Thank you for reading this post and any donations to support this initiative are greatly appreciated.
