Hello/As salam,
I am my mothers daughter.
On Thursday 2nd November 2023 at approximately 2.30am, my mum stopped breathing in front of my eyes. While on a trip to her motherland, she took her last breathe. Never did I think this day would come when she would leave me. I believe she had a heart attack but Allah knows best.
She came to the UK in the late 80s, where she raise the 4 of us on her own, in an unfamiliar land. She lived a life of courage and strength where despite all her challenges, she lived for us, creating a life of love and protection. She was a devout Muslim and loved gardening. The picture above shows one of her proud produce with my son (her last grandchild).
There are not enough words to describe her. She had a heart of gold and loved to feed everyone. Mum was the most amazing, generous, loving, kind, caring, selfless, inspirational… person that ever lived. She never judged and helped everyone she could whenever and wherever she could - a random homeless person, a person on the bus, charities and more. She was a giver, that’s what made her happy.
I want her memory and legacy to continue to live on by building a mosque. Her faith meant the world to her so I know this is what she would have wanted, along with giving charity to orphans and families that need it.
Help me give back to her by ongoing sadaqah jariyah to ensure she secures a place in Jannah al firdous. Insha Allah. Ameen
I have tried to raise money on my own but have been unsuccessful due to life pressures. I would appreciate any help in raising £15,000 to build a mosque for my mum in her motherland of Bangladesh.
Forever in our hearts - to a beautiful soul, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and friend - until we meet again. Insha Allah. Ameen
