Handball Cook Islands invites our global community to stand with us.

We are launching “Rima Auro” – Give from Your Golden Hand, a heartfelt call for support as our national teams prepare to represent the Cook Islands and Oceania on the world stage.

This year, 80 Cook Islanders — athletes and officials for Handball — will travel across the globe to compete at the highest level:

▪️Senior Women’s Beach Handball Team: Beach Handball World Championships, Croatia (23–28 June 2026)

▪️Senior Women’s Indoor Handball Team: IHF Trophy / OCHF World Qualifications (September 2026)

▪️U17 Men’s Beach Handball Team: Youth Olympics Dakar, Senegal (31 October – 13 November 2026)

▪️Youth & Junior Men’s Indoor Teams: IHF Trophy / OCHF World Qualifications, Auckland (6–14 December 2026)

For a small code, this is massive!. But getting there takes more than talent — it takes a community.

This call is not only for the handball community.

It is for every Cook Islander in: every sports club, every code, every supporter, every family member, every friend, every proud Pacific heart — at home and across the world. Whether you have worn a national uniform, cheered from the sidelines, fundraised for a team, coached a child, or simply know what it means for our small islands to be seen on the world stage — we are asking you to stand with us now.

Our teams have earned their place.

Now we need to get them there.
