Riley's Jaw Surgery
Hi friends,
Many of you already know this, but Riley - our beloved companion of 6 years - has an aggressive carcinoma. The prognosis is actually quite good - if we can operate soon. It hasn't spread from her jaw to any vital organs, but it very well could if we can't get her into surgery soon. The surgery requires removing her lower jaw behind her canines, and requires a specialist to do so. We just moved, and it took five vet visits (including a minor surgery) to diagnose her properly. As much as we hate to ask for help, we do need help to make this happen as quickly as possible. Riley is an important part of our family, and so we want to make sure she gets the care she needs. If you know us, chances are that you know Riley, and know how important she is to us. Sweet Rye's surgery will cost $5,500 - but a few friends have kindly already chipped in. We're saving diligently for this, and will continue to do so, but any and all help is greatly appreciated - the growth on her jaw is already returning. Thank you for considering this cause, and thank you to all who have been great supports during this time.
