My name is Riley, I am a 37 year old disabled trans man whose goal is to get top surgery. Right now I am enrolled in college and am in an interpreter program for the Deaf and hard of hearing.
Because I live off of SSDI, my personal funds are extremely tight. I'm asking for help getting this final step of my transition completed. I know there are a lot of worthy causes and I'm grateful folks are willing to help out. These funds will go directly to paying for chest masculinization surgery. I've already saved up the $1,000 down payment to hold my surgery date and have my travel and recovery planned out. The financial hurdle is the final obstacle I'm facing.
I would be beyond grateful to get this chance to finally shed the cloying dysphoria my chest causes and continue on with my education in the body that matches the brain operating it. It's been a very long journey to get here, I'm ready to spend the second half of my life whole.
The surgery center I am planning to use provides all of the garments and support I will need after my operation.
