As many of you know, Rebecca got Riley when she was just a few months old. Riley has been her everything over the last 8 years. On Monday evening, Rebecca and I took Riley to the hospital. She was in the ICU for 3 days and was diagnosed with cancer. Her cancer lead to the development of pleural effusions, which needed to be drained daily. The doctor's thought Riley would have to be put down this week. However, Wednesday the medical team trialed steroids, and a miracle happened - Riley was able to come home for July 4th weekend (even if its just for a few days)!!!! I am hosting this fundraiser for my sister, Rebecca, to help pay for Riley's medical bills.
