Hi, I’m Riley and I’m raising funds so I can help local communities in Tanzania for a month in summer 2026.

Whilst there I will be working on school improvement projects and building or renovating homes for; the homeless, elderly or disabled.

I can’t wait to see the local nature and support the environment. I will be able to help improve natural waterholes and build elephant deterrent fences to help safeguard the animals futures.

I am looking forward to living as part of the community and see this as an opportunity to widen my understanding and knowledge.

This will be a personal challenge for me as my first time away without family.

In my future I hope to undertake a practical apprenticeship in a trade or marine engineering. I believe that the skills I will learn helping the communities with their infrastructure will help me gain experience and to achieve this.

I hope that the trip the trip will give me a wider worldly perspective and help me grow into the person I want to be.
