Riley's Summer Opera Experiences

My name is Riley Wells, and I'm a vocal performance major at Grand Valley who hopes to become a professional opera singer. This summer, I'm taking steps towards that goal by attending two opera programs- the Miami Music Festival, and AIMS in Graz, Austria. I'm raising money to help pay for my air fare, as well as some living expenses while I'm away.

I will also be holding a fund-raiser concert in the first week of May at St. Mark's episcopal church in Grand Rapids, and I'd love to see everyone there as a thank you for your donations. There will also be a way to donate directly to my tuition for AIMS at the recital. I will post an update once the date and time for the recital have been confirmed.

These programs will move me a long way in my musical journey as well as my career. They are an opportunity for me to learn, perform, study with acclaimed coaches, and make connections that will serve me well as I enter the world of professional music.
