Current status of Riley...

They found a leak at the surgical sight on 2/7/24. She needs to go back into surgery to have it fixed, and we need some help. Riley had her gallbladder removed on 12/14/23. She has had a long recovery and the things that would normally keep a dog from surviving she has fought through like a champ. Her liver is great and other then this she is healthy and happy. The vet is confident that she will do well with surgery and live a long life once this is fixed.

I know a lot of people have already donated to getting her gallbladder removed. And we are so thankful for that $2,700. And I know we are asking for a lot. If you can donate to help us get this leak closed we would greatly appreciate it. Nothing is too small and it ALL goes to our sweet girl.

Hi, My name is Corrie and as most people say, I never imagined I would have to create one of these accounts but our Riley is worth it. She is very sick, she needs surgery on her gallbladder tomorrow or she will not make it.

The short of it is we have already spent a small fortune on her care over the past 48 hrs because she is our family and needed the treatment. Now her gallbladder is blocked from the treatment and the blockage needs to be removed before it bursts.

The long part of it is she means the world to us and if I had 10k for this surgery there would be no question on having it done but I do not. Riley came into our lives when we were hurting from loosing our other pup Toby. Losing him left a whole in our hearts that will never fully heal but she made it so we could breathe again. She gave our home life again and she deserves the absolute best. The fact that we can not do this for her is heart breaking, so I am asking you for some help.

We have already maxed out our funds to help her and we are asking for help if you can. No amount is too little.
