Molly Stuckey, grandmother to Riley Fulton, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 after a 2.5 year battle with cancer. Her doctor encouraged her to begin services with Hospice nearly a year ago, but she refused, saying Riley needed her and she did not care about "quality", she cared about "quantity" because the more time she had with Riley, the better off she felt he would be. She suffered longer and harder than anyone should just to buy more days with her precious grandson. Her dying wish was that Riley be afforded the absolute best opportunities in life. Molly was more than "just" a grandmother. She was Riley's beloved "Gamma", the person he loved the most in the entire world, and his biggest fan. She has been a stable and constant force in Riley's life since the day he was born.
As a young child, Riley was diagnosed with autism. Things that may come easily for you or I are, at times, a struggle for Riley. He is a wonderful 14-year-old boy, talented in many areas, and eager to succeed. Riley will require special education services, grief counseling, possibly tutoring, future job training, etc. As Molly's death became imminent, she was instrumental in creating The Riley Thomas Fulton Special Needs Trust. Everything she had went into this Trust to go towards Riley's care from this point forward. She requested that any and all donations that were made in her honor after she passed be made to Riley's Trust account.
I encourage all who loved Molly, who love Riley, or who care about Molly's loved ones to grant her final wish and donate any amount to The Riley Thomas Fulton Special Needs Trust. Thank you and God Bless!
