Hi! My name is Riley, I'm a trans girl living in Alberta Canada, and I'm struggling to pay for my basic amenities.

I'm currently in the process of looking for work and have been for quite some time. I'm trying to get my foot in the door anywhere, especially with social work opportunities, since helping people is my hyper-focus and a bachelor of social work is my eventual education goal. My plan is to use this fundraiser to afford the next 3 months of my living expenses while I continue looking for work. I set my goal at 5500 to cover my rent+bills, phone, credit interest payments, as well as food and other basic amenities. I also included paying a quarter of my credit debt to decrease my interest payments and plan to use this as part of a greater plan to sustainably pay it off completely.

I know everyone is struggling now more than ever, and I intend to pay it forward once I've reached a more stable position. I appreciate any help at all and I hope you have a wonderful day.
