Riley was born with a genetic predisposition for anxiety and depression. After her parents were divorced while she was in middle school, Riley started showing signs of her mental disorder. Unfortunately, Riley was also sexually assaulted in high school. All of these events have landed Riley in a difficult place, suffering with anxiety and depression, an eating disorder and sexual trauma. The counseling and psychiatric care Riley has received over the last two years have not been enough. Riley went off to college this summer and got an emotional support dog and that wasn't enough. Riley needs more. She has two insurance policies but neither policy completely covers her stay at a long-term mental health treatment facility. We are hoping you will contribute knowing that we are doing what we think is best for Riley and hoping this will put her in a place to receive the help and tools she needs to live a happy, fully functioning life!
