Please help my friend and colleague Rika. She is a long time nurse and just has been diagnosed with colon and bladder cancer. She has had surgery, 7/3/17, for a large tumor and will need chemotherapy.
As she is single and therefore the sole provider, we are asking for financial aid for her living expenses. I'd like her to not have to worry about her rent, groceries, utilities and insurance during this time she's out of work - realistically at least 6 months.
Although she is a very private and independent woman, now is the time she needs our help!
As a nurse for over 30 years she has always been very giving of herself to her patients and colleagues, so we would like to reciprocate and give back to her.
