Right the Ship for Jeromy Foberg

All Hands on Deck! My name is Eleanor Dobson, and I've had the honor of knowing Jeromy Foberg for almost a decade now. In some of my darkest moments, Jeromy lifted me up and was there when I needed him. As many of us know, we can all call on Jeromy when we need to.

Now, our favorite wonderful, spooky, lovable pirate needs our help. Jeromy is struggling through a very tough 2024. In early summer, I received my first "Eleanor, I need your help" text to help him move out of his apartment after the landlord put the building up for sale. With the help of friends and family, we got a lot done and it felt like we were on the other side. We moved their items to an affordable storage unit down the road, Cyn was able to stay with her family in Coventry, and Jeromy has been staying with a friend in PVD. But just as he was getting back on his feet, life knocked him down again. Last month, Jeromy was in a car accident that totaled their car and their ability to get around. As a result, he is behind on rent, their storage unit, and he missed a court date resulting in a suspended license. With this deficit, it is hard to even think about the down payment and taxes on a new vehicle, let alone first and last months rent as a deposit for a new apartment so Cyn and Jeromy can live together again.

This fundraiser is to "right the ship" and get Jeromy back to their normal. Funds will go toward paying off the rent and storage, while also helping save for a vehicle and a new place to live. Jeromy is the recipient of this campaign, and you can also reach out to him with other ways to help. Whether you can spare the cost of an uber or a meal, or more, any amount helps.
