As many may have heard, on 4/19/22, my mom ( Joan) and Jim’s dogs, Riggs and Gunnar were hit by a school bus, while crossing the road. This was a pure tragic happening. Gunnar and Riggs were severely hurt. They are currently in Madison at a critical care center. Riggs has severe injuries to his back legs and underwent surgery today to repair them and has a wound pump on clearing out an infection. He has a long road to recovery but is beginning to heal. He has at least another week stay in Madison. Gunnar suffered internal injuries however his body is healing on its own with the help of fluids and pain medication as well as monitoring. He is doing so well, he may be able to come home soon, should everything remain stable. Both are dearly loved by every single person who meets them. Gunnar and Riggs have two doggy brothers at home eagerly awaiting them. Gunnar enjoys his time being a therapy dog with Champ and both love all the belly scratches anyone can give.

With this treatment comes expensive vet bills! Any help in bringing these two home healed and well would be greatly appreciated, whether it be positive prayers and/ or monetary.
