On Wednesday, March 7th, fire destroyed my brother Richard and sister-in-law Sandy rigdon's house. It was a complete loss including most of their beloved pets, all of their household possessions and everything they have accumulated over a lifespan. Richard and Sandy have given numerous ways to their community and Country.
Sandy has been, and still is, someone that has devoted her whole life to the Love of Animals. Not only is she an Animal Rescuer she works closely with animal adoption agencies, be at the animal shelter or just a animal she finds on the side of the road. During the fire they lost six dogs, three cats, a pot-bellied pig and two guinea pigs. If you know her, then you know the love I speak of.
My brother Richard, not only is one of my family members but one of my heroes. It was because of him I enlisted in the US Army. His love for family, friends and country is like no other. He and Sandy spent 20 years of their life relocating around the world while serving their country. During this time they picked up numerous items from all over the world. The fire took all these items along with all the pictures, drawings and baby items of their loving daughter Lindsey. This stuff they will never get back but we'll always have their memories.
I asked you to look to your heart and do what you can to help this family, my family.
