This summer I will embark on a solo bike ride from Montreal, QC to Halifax, N.S. (1,340 km). A challenging commitment for anyone; being a brain injury survivor makes this personal journey even more arduous and rewarding. When I was 14 yrs old I survived a serious car accident and have been living with a brain injury since.   It hasn't been an easy ride, excuse the pun, but my intention is to raise donations for local agencies to help enhance awareness for all people impacted. Education is vital!  Through my ride I hope to raise funds,  knowledge and promote acceptance with those surviving a with brain injury, and/or, mental health issues. By working together, we will be riding away stigma.
