I’m setting out on a journey that goes far beyond the bike, the distance, or the physical challenge. I’m joining Fireflies Patagonia, riding over 1,000 kilometers across a land as vast and powerful as the cause that inspires us. Cycling through Patagonia is demanding, yes… but it’s nothing compared to the daily fight of the children and families facing cancer. They are the true heroes of this story. They are the reason we ride: In Fireflies Patagonia, we move forward not just with our legs—we move forward with our hearts. We wear the names of loved ones on our jerseys: names we cherish, names we miss, names that give us strength when the road becomes steep and the wind feels too strong. Every climb, every turn, every kilometer becomes a tribute to their courage.
I am working to raise money for the children's hospital but I am also having to pause and leave for two weeks to make this happen. I am sincerely asking for any support for my expenses back at home during this endeavor. Your generosity will help me focus on the ride and the children and families who inspire every mile. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
