Riding Mower repair to Care for WWII Vet’s 3 Acres

We’re raising funds to fix riding lawn mower to help care for my 3-acre property. I already put 400.00 into it to find out the engine needs to be replaced. We have been fighting this lawn mower problem for 5 weeks. He is 99 years old and can’t mow anymore. It was something he loved to do, now I am trying to keep the lawn mowed, but just having a hard time getting the riding mower to work. We have found a solution just need help raising the 1,600 dollars it will take to put a replacement engine on the mower. Every week that goes by the jungle is getting taller.
