Riding into Independence

Hi EVERYONE!!! I need your help.

If you don't know me I am a paraplegic going on 13 yrs. Let me tell you a little about myself and why I need the help getting out of my wheelchair and into a BowHead Reach Bike. I grew up racing bikes as a kid, playing baseball,
soccer, football, and riding dirt bikes. I always enjoyed being out enjoying the outdoors. After high school I was all
about off-roading and riding my dirt bike until one day it cam to an abrupt stop. My life changed in the blink of an
eye. I was out enjoying a weekend of camping and riding with friends. It was a great weekend. We went out on our
last ride to a sand dune call Sand Dam. We got to the hill and played around, it was getting late and decided to head back to camp and that is when it happened. I speed up the hill and I accidentally flew of the top landing ehh 30 feet down at the flats. When I hit the ground everything compressed and I felt my break and ever since I have been in a wheelchair.

As you may or may not know people with disability's have to pay quite a bit more to enjoy activities that able body people get to enjoy. This bike that I'm asking for your help to get will allow me to do so so so much more then a
wheelchair or hand cycle, will ever allow. Not only that it will keep me from killing by shoulders and arms even
more. I use my upper body for everything and would be great to be able to enjoy the out doors with much more
independence. I wouldn't have to ask people to push me over a bump or little obstacle that this bike would easily go over. No more waiting on me lol. I will be able to hike, roll longer, ride bikes with family and friends. In all honestly
this bike would just make these activities I once did and still love to do so much easier and some activities do able
again. This bike would give me so much more independence. I would be able enjoy life that so many take for
granted. In all honesty it would bring so much joy into my life. I don't want to feel left behind any more and I want
to enjoy the outdoors without having to rely on help. Its been 13 years and I'm tired of watching people do the things I love to though there eyes. Its time to see the view for myself, with my family and my friends.
