In her first year of competing, Taysha achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the 2D champion at her local Barell club, a testament to her dedication and hard work.

After Taysha’s second day of competing her horse had an unexpected injury putting him out of the competition, Taysha had a hard decision of withdrawing from the competition on the last day or she could use her mothers horse who was still learning the sport. Taysha decided she would take her mothers horse regardless of the outcome she only wanted to finish what she had started and was proud of where her and her horse had gotten to. To her delight, she was selected to ride in the Australian Team, an incredible achievement that highlights her exceptional abilities. However, this opportunity comes with its own challenges – all the competitors are responsible for funding their own trips to the United States.
