My name is Jeanette Bonfiglio, a Ridgefield resident since 2012. Many of you may know my husband Peter as an active parishioner at St. Mary’s church. He has served the Ridgefield community as a catechist, reader, usher, as a Knight and as part of the Men’s Ministry. We have grown to love Ridgefield and serving our community!
We’ve learned about two RHS 2020 graduates, twins, who are ready to embark on their college education. They have been accepted to their desired universities and have worked extremely hard to be awarded scholarships, grants and financial awards to fund their education. The twins were born and raised in Ridgefield, CT where they have been enriched by the wonderful town, they call HOME! The twins are active participants of our community while working, volunteering, and helping local businesses such as Ridgefield Library and Ridgefield Crossings to name a few. The girls are ambitious and are looking forward to attending the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Lynn University, Boca Raton, one majoring in Environmental Science with a future goal to attend Med School, while the other is majoring in Fashion Merchandising/Photography.
The twins were counting on student loans to help supplement the cost of their first year of tuition. Due to reasons out of their control, their student loan applications were denied. This news has been devastating and brought additional stress to the family. The twins applied for federal and private loans, and have reached out to their universities for support. Unfortunately, if they don’t come up with the remaining balance they’ll be forced to withdraw from their college.
So we’re asking to please, please help the twins achieve their goal! My husband and I are onboard to help but we can’t do it alone. Let’s help them through their first year of college and not deprive them of continuing their education.
Please donate today and support our Ridgefield Twins. Any amount is greatly appreciated and we pray that your generosity will bring many blessings to you and your loved ones. God Bless!
All donations will go directly towards their first-year tuition cost. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support!
