At this point I dont think we know too much of what is going on other than the Harris family in our neighborhood experienced, what I would imagine as, the scariest family emergency in the middle of the night.
Looking at our Facebook page Truett and Donna Harris have a couple of kids and a couple of pets - donations will be given to the Harris family to help in the short term until they have a better understanding of what will be needed and how much their insurance can help.
Others suggested gift cards - and that is a very smart thing as those gift cards and this donation page will likely cover the immediate needs of the family from clothes to everyday items to pet needs.
We do not know the family, but if we can get their info on the Facebook page we can connect and provide all the donations ASAP.
