On May 4, Ashton Kidd Cook was 25 weeks pregnant when she had to unexpectedly deliver her son Ridge via emergency c-section due to high blood pressure and preeclampsia. Ridge is currently in the NICU in Birmingham where he was life flighted shortly after being born in Dothan. Ridge is currently stable and impressing his nurses and doctors, but he still has a long road ahead to grow, strengthen, and continue to develop. Over the next few months Ashton and Hunter will be incurring many expenses as they travel between their home in Eufaula and the NICU in Birmingham to be with Ridge as well as take care of their 6 year old daughter Hadley.
