Thea whacked her knee getting into the family's SUV. It caused a bone chip and tendon tear. She cannot bear weight on her hind leg. It's very painful for her. Her family took her to the vet and veterinary surgeon. The only hope of giving Thea a chance at a normal life is very expensive surgery. Her owners can't afford the surgery that Thea needs just to be able to walk again. Without the surgery, her future is bleak and she will have to be euthanized.
