Riders for Roy Ramey

On May 17th, our good friend and  friend to MANY, Roy Ramey was in a very serious motorcycle accident. Thankfully he is still alive thanks to heroic efforts provided by our wonderful Drs and staff here at Memorial Hospital!  He was brought in with life threatening injuries: punctured lung, several facial fractures, broken femur, broken pelvis & broken ribs. He remains in ICU.  Thankfully, he regained consciousness but is unable to speak at this time because of the trachea tube in place to breathe for him while his lung heals. He has undergone three major surgeries thus far (repairing femur, pelvis & facial fractures). Obviously, these are extensive and dangerous procedures.  He will, as time and his condition allows,  have to face many more procedures to return him to health. We all know how lengthy hospital stays and surgeries can be financially devastating! This recovery will obviously be a very LONG process, so we are asking for ANYTHING monetarily you can afford. Every bit, even $5 will help and be greatly appreciated! Roy is truly one of "the good guys" and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Let's rally 'round him and show him that we appreciate that spirit and will return it in his time of need! Again- ANY amount will help!
