I am hosting a cycling event in memory of our amazing son Rufus Pomeroy.
Myself and Red's mummy will donate the money to the following:
- 2Wish – a charity offering free, immediate and ongoing support for parents and families that lose a child.
- Redland Green School SEND provisions – specifically for the lunchtime Minecraft Club Red helped instigated, and generally equipment/furnishings to provide a comfortable space for SEND children to utilise through the lunch period which was where Red struggled.
- We are also liaising with Bristol Autism Team to identify an organisation(s) that supports autistic children – hopefully involving the outdoors and/or wildlife which was a massive part of Red’s coping mechanism.
