Ride to conquer cancer

Hi everyone, both Michael and myself have registered in the Ride to Conquer Cancer which is a two day 200 km bike ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls on June 10-11, 2017.
Cancer is a disease that can affect anyone. Everyday 555 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer and 216 will die. Every hour an estimated 23 people will be diagnosed with cancer, and nine will die. In 2016 roughly 202,400 new cases of cancer and 78,800 cancer deaths have occured. An estimated 2 in 5 Canadians will develop cancer in their lifetimes.
We have both had people in our lives affected by cancer. From parents, friends, grandparents, and uncles . Some were lucky enough to fight through and get cured, while others were not able to. We are riding for all those people.
We have decided to take our first step by riding 200km and a goal of raising 5000 dollars. We believe that if some people can go years fighting cancer then we can reach this goal. A simple donation no matter how small can be your start to finding a cure for this disease.
