The Ride for life
Donation protected
On Friday April 27th, I will attempt to ride my bike 600 miles in under 48 hours. That means no sleep, or stopping for roughly two straight days. This will be a huge mental and physical feat! The reason I’m going to put myself through this is two fold: First, my fundraising efforts will bring clean water to over 3,000 people in the Turkana region of northern Kenya. The people of Turkana are experiencing extreme drought while 92 percent of its 1.4 million people live below the poverty line. Access to water will not only benefit their health, but will allow economic growth as the majority of the people are pastoralists. Water will bring life and hope to this region and it’s people.
Secondly, I hope to inspire people by demonstrating that the seemingly impossible, or ANYTHING for that matter, is possible!
I believe, that when we set clear intentions, manically focus on our energetic state, and then take the right actions, that the results we achieve are second to none! This combined with the ancient wisdom of yoga, and all of the worlds great faith based traditions have been the basis of so much of the successes that I’ve experienced in my life. My hope is that through this feat and the other events I have planned, that I can teach more and more people how to live a life of purpose that delivers results, while most importantly having fun through it all!
