Ride for Linda “4”

Do you want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. So on Saturday 23rd Aug 2025 we will be cycling from Flitwick to Overstrand in Norfolk which is about 125 miles in one day. This is our 4th ride and we have raised just shy of £10k ! None of us are serious cyclists or have decent levels of fitness and taking on this ride is very hard ! But not as hard as being diagnosed or having treatment ! This event is in memory of Linda my mother in law, Linda was so special and an inspiration to me and probably to all that new her ! Not only beautiful inside but outside as well. Linda loved being at the family caravan on Ivy Farm holiday park, Overstrand whenever she could, weekends, bank holidays and the whole of the summer holidays where we still have our family caravans today !

Linda passed away in December 2019 after loosing her battle to cancer which she kept from everyone to protect them for as long as she could. I lost my dad to cancer in 2008, since Linda’s passing I have been determined to try and raise money so that hopefully they can continue to help others. Everyone of us is affected by cancer and to hear a life long friend is starting his battle with throat cancer rocks us to the core ! Please meet our confirmed team which we are hoping will grow !
