Ride for Linda “3”

Hi all please join me in trying to make a difference by supporting this good cause! I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK and any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me. 

This will be our 3rd annual bike ride from Flitwick to Overstrand in Norfolk which is approximately 130 miles in one day Saturday 27th August 2022, which is incredibly hard and uncomfortable for us novice riders, but no where near as painful or uncomfortable as having being diagnosed or having treatment!! 

I personally have lost my dad in 2008, my special mother-in-law at Christmas time in 2019, but now a mate of mine I went to school with has lost his battle with aggressive brain cancer, and his family have made the harrowing decision to turn of his 

life support machine as recently as 17th July this year, I know of others that have passed away due to cancer and it is or has affected everyone of us. 

We cycle to Overstrand in Norfolk because this is where Linda loved to be whatever the weather, we have had caravans on Ivy Farm for over 45 years and we are lucky enough to still have them today !

I don’t think anyone will ever know the impact that Linda has had on me personally and to everyone that knows her, which is why I am determined to continue this annual event, if anybody wants to join us then they are more than welcome, please contact me personally 07787436846. 

£3,000 is incredibly ambitious due to many different reasons but please tap, like, swipe, forward, join or whatever we need to do to advertise our event !! We will also be selling advertisement space on our cycling jersey which will be great to raise money as well. 

This can only be achieved by having a special team of mates to help us all to get into Overstrand in one piece so please meet the team
