Help Us Rally Around One of Our Own

The Elk River Composite Mountain Bike Team family is coming together to support Jackson, a senior rider and one of our own, after he was recently struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on Saturday, September 5th. Jackson suffered serious injuries and now has a long road of healing and recovery ahead. As a senior who had been looking forward to racing his final varsity season with his teammates, having that season suddenly taken away has been incredibly difficult for Jackson, the family, and everyone who cares about him.

On top of the physical and emotional toll, this accident has created a tremendous financial burden. Jackson’s mountain bike and riding gear were damaged and need to be replaced, time away from work, transportation costs, and many other unexpected challenges that come with a serious injury.

This team is more than a group of kids who ride bikes together. We are a family. We race together, cheer for each other, and celebrate every mile and every accomplishment together.

We ride together. We fall together. And when one of us gets knocked down, we come together to help them back up.
