Barry Standing is one of the Darling Down's local heroes who has spent his life supporting others.

Now he and his family need our help.

Barry and Debbie Standing's grand daughter Evie, is a gorgeous 6 year old that was born with Cystic Fibrosis. In her short life Evie has spent too much time in hospital and now has the devastating news that she is needing a double lung transplant.

Evie's family's life has been thrown into turmoil. They need to relocate and the life saving operation can only be performed in Melbourne. Lee Smith, who is Evie's mother, sends out a huge thank you to everyone that has donated to gofundme to help Evie.
