Ride for a Cure: Miles for Pediatric Cancer Research
When my son Mark was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, our world tilted. He fought with a bravery that still humbles me, and today he is a survivor. I know with every fiber of my being that we would not be where we are without cancer research. But pediatric cancer research is woefully underfunded, and too many families still hear the words, "your kid has cancer," without the next sentence, "but we have a cure for that." I want to change that.
For 17 years, Pablove Across America riders have carried a powerful mission forward with endurance, community, and love. This year, I am joining Pop Up Pablove to bring that spirit into my own neighborhood. There is no single route and no one-size-fits-all ride. I will turn my September miles into meaning by riding in my own community, honoring Mark’s story, and standing with all families who need better options and brighter futures.
The Pablove Foundation invests in underfunded, cutting-edge pediatric cancer research and improves the lives of children with cancer through the arts. Their work helped give us time, hope, and treatments. By supporting this fundraiser, you help fund lifesaving research and programs that let kids live love-filled lives today while we work toward a cancer-free tomorrow.
Please join me by donating to The Pablove Foundation. Your gift will help ensure the next family to hear those words will also hear, "we have a cure for that." Every contribution turns miles into hope and brings us one step closer to a future without childhood cancer.
