Ricos Adventure with Elah and Fight for Life

Rico is one of the most hardworking, humble, and private people you’ll ever meet. He’s always been the one to quietly carry the weight for others—rarely asking for help, even now as he faces one of the biggest challenges of his life.

Rico has been diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and has battled diabetes since he was a child. He is currently on the pancreas and kidney transplant list. Though he continues to work as much as his health allows, it’s become more difficult to manage the physical and emotional toll. The demands of treatment, fatigue, and the reality of his condition have made day-to-day life harder than ever.

Through it all, what keeps him going most is his daughter, Elah. She is his heart. One of Rico’s hopes is to take Elah on a meaningful road trip adventure—something they’ve dreamed of doing together. He wants to create special memories with her while he’s still able.
