While returning home from a work meeting on his motorbike, Rico’s life changed in an instant. An erratically driven bus forced him off the road, leaving him alone in a ditch with a severely broken open femur, fractured ribs, and deep lacerations. It was only thanks to the quick response of emergency services and the team at Vachira Hospital that his life was saved.

Rico now faces a long and painful road to recovery. His savings have already been exhausted after the initial life-saving surgery, and with no social security or insurance to fall back on, the mounting medical bills are overwhelming. As he focuses on healing, he urgently needs our support.
